The walls in this
beautiful home already had a skip troweled texture, so
all I had to do to complete the look was add a bit of
painting and glazing. |
This is the entry side of
the previous great room. Glazing over textured plaster
really makes a statement. |
The
challenge for this glazing treatment was in
complementing the gorgeous wood ceiling.

Here, my task was creating
a warm finish to blend in with all the natural materials
we used in constructing this beautiful home. |
A blue on blue stripe
makes a bold, confident statement in this client's
library. |
A
finish almost like the alabaster shades on the lights
completes this master bath. |

The beauty of handpainted
stripes can show itself in many ways. This example showcases
changing stripe size and color. |
A shimmering plaster
application to this ceiling absolutely completed this
client's dining room. |
A tone
on tone ragged stripe provides the calming effect this
client was looking for in their sitting room. |

| A
study in how to change the look of paneling without a
carpenter. The paneling grooves were filled and a new
glazed finish was applied. |
For this magnificent open space, I used a
textured plaster and three colored glaze to create a
warm and inviting feeling. |
This is the other end of the now warmed
and inviting open space. |

The colors for this dining room came from
the fabric samples for the forthcoming window
treatments. |
To visually bring the end wall of this
long room forward, I glazed the surrounding walls in a
warm, Tuscan inspired color and used a rough plaster
application and dark glaze on the fireplace wall. |
Metallic harlequins lend the finishing

Shimmering diamonds create a beautiful
accent wall in this newly refinished bathroom. |
I applied several troweled layers of
Champagne Lusterstone plaster to complete the look of
this dining room ceiling. |
In this antique Hollis, NH home, I
painted a classic geometric pattern using very durable
floor enamels. |

Using a shimmering metallic glaze, I used
a ragging technique to apply a luminous finish to this
master bath. |
To create a truly stunning look in this
new construction dining room, I finished all the trim
with a "hammered copper" glaze and a complimentary
copper colored satin stripe. |

In this new construction kitchen in
Milford, NH, I created an old world European flair by
employing sandstone plaster and a dark overglaze. |
In this kitchen, I created a rustic
European look with a sandstone plaster and tea- stain
glaze. The border is the same sandstone plaster troweled
through a stencil and left natural. |

A shimmering metallic glaze was ragged
onto this tall powder room to contrast with the black
fixtures. |
This sunroom presented me with an usual
set of circumstances. I had to go over the existing sand
texture. I resurfaced the walls with Softex in a skip
troweled pattern and applied a two color glaze. |
A ragged stripe finish completes this
master sitting room. |

A deep toned suede finish adds just the
touch of elegance to this new construction formal living
room. |
This entry combines a three color glazed
finish along with an accent wall of tissue texture done
in the same glaze colors. |
My client wanted a "pub like" feel for
this finished basement, so I used my tissue texture and
a dark toned glaze. |
 |
 |
 |
|
Even small ceilings deserve some
attention. I painted the stepped trays of the ceiling in
ever darkening tones of the same color, culminating in a
tissue texture center square. |
I combined a soft glazed look on most of
the walls in this Newburyport, MA condo with an accent
of weathered plaster going up the stairs. |
With the new wainscotting painted a
bright white, I created a depth of color by employing
textured plaster and overglazes. |
